SITUATION # 1: Cloudy and Green Water If your water is turning green and you can't see through it, the best solution is to use Microbe-Lift PL or Biological Clarifier Bacteria. Either of this two products will get rid of the excess of single-cell algae and will help clear your water.	SITUATION # 2: String Algae If your water is clear, but you see strings of algae all over your pond, we recommend that you use either AlgaeFix and EcoFix for a fast and chemical algae destroyer or Barley Products as Barley Straw Extract for a slower but totally natural process. Pond Balance will create clear water and get rid of string algae.



SITUATION # 3: Bubbles in the Water Excess protein in the water is a common symptom of Bubbles in your pond. They will appear during the Spring after a heavy Rainfall, but there is an easy way to control this. Just use either Microbe-Lift PL or Biological Clarifier Bacteria, and this will return the balance of your pond ecosystem. For an even faster way use Defoamer for almost instant results!	SITUATION # 4: Tea Colored Water The brown color in your water is usually caused by decaying leaves, either from Oak trees (which are the worst) or Mulch that gets into your pond. We recommend that you use an Activated Carbon Coated Filter that will be placed by your pump filters and will help clear up the water.


SITUATION # 5: Water Loss Evaporation is a common way to loose water in your Pond, specially in warm weather months. (Rapid loss of water could be caused by a leak). It is recommended to use Dechlorinator if you are adding more than 1" or 2" at one time. This will protect your fish from harmful chemicals that are added by water treatment plants.	SITUATION # 6: The Water Temperature The use of a Thermometer is recommended to keep track of your water temperature during the seasons, this way you can decide when to feed your fish. Spring/Autumn Fish Food is recommended in water temperatures from 50-65^o and Summer Fish Food in temperatures from 65^o and above. (It is not recommended to feed your fish in temperatures below 50^o).


SITUATION # 7: Keep leaves out of pond A Pond Netting is a have-to item. It can be used to protect your fish from predators and also keep leaves and other debris out of your pond, so that you can have clean and healthy water. Especially recommended during the Fall season when most of the leaves are dropping.	SITUATION # 8: Aquatic Plants Maintenance Hardy Lilies are heavy feeders, so you will want to fertilize them with 2 or 3 tablets per month from approx. May - September. Lotus are also heavy feeders but will need 5 to 6 tablets per month. Marginals will only need 1 tablet at the beginning of the blooming season and the rest of the flowers will get their nutrients from the water. You can choose between monthly, bi-monthly or once-a-year Aquatic Plant Fertilizer for your convenience.


SITUATION # 9: Sick Fish??? Listing, white spots or non movement could indicate a fish parasite. Pond Salt is the first line of defense for treatment, its natural and easy to use. Melafix, in the other hand, can be used to treat fish in more extreme cases like open wounds, ulcers, fungus, fin and tail rot.	SITUATION # 10: Your Fish Under Stress? or Spring Cleanup time?? Drastic changes in your water may caused stress on your fish. We recommended to use Stress Coat as a fish and water conditioner, that will replace the natural slime coat of fish, will help heal wounds, and reduce fish stress. Use in holding tanks when doing water changeouts.


SITUATION # 11: The Terrible Blue Heron Garden Accessory-Blue Heron, Herons are territorial and in most cases if they see the 'fake' heron they will move on to other ponds in the area.	SITUATION # 12: Need Water Movement The sound of the water falling into the pond can be relaxing and peaceful, so take the step, get a Spitter, plug it in and create your own tranquility.


Situation #13 Sludge Buildup Got lots of sludge buildup in the bottom of your pond , use Sludge Away to get rid of the slow decaying debris, Speeds up the process. Uses oxygen power so be sure and keep waterfalls going and water oxygenated. If you have lesser amounts of buildup and did a partial clean up and there is still some debris on the bottom, use Microbe-Lift Spring /Summer cleaner. Will jumpstart your bacteria in the Spring.
