MOONDANCE

Large creamy white blooms above deep green foliage. Heavy bloomer.

BERNICE IKENS

Beautiful deep reddish-pink flowers with reddish green leaves.

CHROMATELLA

Canary yellow cup-shaped blooms with speckled leaves.

BLACK PRINCESS

The blooms are so deep red they are almost black. Has marroon colored leaves.

PEACH GLOW

Full cup-shaped double soft peach held above the water.

PINK SUNRISE

Large deep pink star-shaped blooms with green leaves with specks.

SOUTHERN CHARM

A beautiful bloom that falls in the Blue/green group. Mottled leaves. Great lily. 2nd place winner 2007

Large white blooms with pink tips. Profuse bloomer.

Dwarf lotus with carmine red double blooms.

CHAWAN BASU

Semi dwarf. Free flowering white blossoms edge with a delicate pink. Ideal for patio pool gardens.

PERRY'S GIANT SUNBURST

Yellow Lotus. Large delicate yellow blossoms tower above enormous waxy leaves.

MRS. P D SLOCUM

Large Lotus with huge cfhanging blooms from delicate rose fading to yellow.

MAGGIE BELLE SLOCUM

Large lotus with rich pink blooms that fade a little each day.

ROSY CLOUDS

A free blooming medium red that is a true performer.

BLOODY DOCK

NEW Bright red veins. A smaller size plant good for edges.

RED LEAF PLANTAIN

18" small compact plant with green and burgundy leaves.

YELLOW FLAG IRIS

Flowers bloom in April, May. This outstanding European species produces masses of brilliant canary yellow blossoms that stand well above the tall erect foliage.

CARDINAL FLOWER

Flowers bloom in August, September, October. Tall spikes of intense red flowers rise out of a modest display of foliage. Striking summer color for a long period.

HORSETAIL

Jointed stems, very distinctive. Cylindrical habit when grown in a container. Semi-evergreen. Tolerates some shade. Prefers very shallow water to moist soil.

HOUTTUYNIA

Green burgudy edged foliage with small white flowers 6-12"

RED ROTALA

Red, pink and green foliage with small pink spiky flower clusters. Creeper.

FORGET-ME-NOT

Creeping ground cover that softens the edges with small blue flowers. 6"

OBEDIENT PLANT

Green foliage with lavender flower spikes. Likes stream edges and very hardy. 2-3'

 

MARGINAL PLANTS:  Tropical Marginals

Recommended Depth: 1" to 8"

 

CHAMELEON PLANT

Flowers bloom in May, June. Multicolored red, blue-green and yellow heart-shaped leaves. White flowers. Leaf colors vary with the amount of sunlight. Prefers partial shade.

DWARF PAPYRUS

Dense tufts of foliage above stiff stems. Golden-green flowers turn a rusty bronze in late summer.

IMPERIAL TARO

Large green leaves blotched with violet black.

BLACK MAGIC TARO

Dusty charcoal black leaves on dark black stems 3-4'

AUSTRALIA CANNA

Burgundy black leaves with bright red blooms. 3-4'

LEMON BACOPA

Small green creeper great for softening edges. Little blue flowers off and on all summer.

DWARF BLUE BELLS

Compact. Flowers bloom in July, August, September. Delightful blue trumpet-shaped flowers persist throughout the summer. Dark purple green foliage for contrast.

BAMBOO

Crisp stems on a compact plant for border planting.

DWARF UMBRELLA PALM

Narrow stems topped with umbrella-shaped foliage. Very graceful. Full sun to Full shade. Moving water. 2-3'

FLOATERS

WATER HYACINTH

Flowers bloom in June, July, August. Mulitplies rapidly. Great for shade and taking up nutrients.

WATER LETTUCE

Unique light green lettuce-like foliage floats peacefully on the waters surface. Does best in moving water. Prefers some light shade. Reg. or rosettes.

 

OXYGENATORS

PARROT FEATHER

Feathery medium-green foliage grows above and below the surface. Sortens the hard edge of the pond. Spreading habit makes this excellent for new ponds.

Anacharis

Whirls of deep green leaves. Occasionally sends tiny white flowers to the surface
